Known resources and abilities on Monadliath
Known mundane resources
The covenant consors are extremely good in some specific areas. Dougal, the physician, is probably one of the best of this profession in Scotland and has a reputation as an excellent scholar in all the educated parts of Scotland. His best friend Thomas, the librarian, has a very thorough knowledge of legendary beast and myths in Scotland. Thomas has also studied various occult subjects, but this is not as widely known. They are both fluent in French, Latin and Gaelic and are well trained in humanities. Together they form the intellectual elite of the covenant, even if no magi would consent to that.
The covenant is known to have a fairly good collection of maps over the British Isles. The magi have also traveled extensively and gathered information from various parts of Europe. During the recent expedition against the Blackthorn covenant in the Stonehenge Tribunal, Monadliath was the main intelligence resource. Monadliath also has some excellent scouts.
Known magical resources
The magi at Monadliath have always shown a great interest in trading magical resources, such as vis, spells and books. Even though the covenant is only a summer one, it has gathered quite a big collection of formulaic spells with which they trade on tribunals. The greatest piece in the collection is a rego book of the fifth magnitude.
The magi themselves are not considered the most powerful in Scotland but have nonetheless earned a reputation of their own. Penthevs has shown an interest in politics and has good connections with houses such as Jerbiton and Ex Miscellanea. The latter is actually due to their numbers the politically strongest in the tribunal. Penthevs is also adept in various rituals, especially those including the arts rego, perdo and vim. Monadliath is therefor supposed to have a good magical defense. Willicanus has not shown himself so much in politics as he has in the field. He do has a political interest himself and works more from behind. If Monadliath has to send magi on dangerous expeditions Willicanus and Eustace would be the most likely candidates.
